ABOUT

ABOUT

A beautiful, brick built, three bedroom self catering holiday chalet, that has been recently fully re-furbished.

Completed in December 2021 - the patio area has been extended, with glass Balustrading (see picture below)

New for 2022 - Wifi throughout the property.

The fully central heated chalet comes with two double bedrooms, and one bunk bedroom, sleeping a total of 6 persons.
We have recently added a new kitchen, and shower room. All bedrooms have a flat screen TV - DVD and CD Player to main lounge.

From the chalet you will have uninterrupted, breath taking sea views of Widemouth Bay and surrounding countryside.

Our ‘Oceanside’ chalet is situated on a small, friendly, well maintained holiday village, which is only a ten minute walk to the award winning, blue flagged, sandy beach at Widemouth, which is lifeguard patrolled during the summer months.

Listen to the waves braking onto the beach, watch the numerous surfers, all from the privacy of your own terraced area.

Bude, which is only a ten minute drive, or a beautiful costal path walk, was voted “Best UK Coastal Resort" for 2018.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

TINTAGEL

Immerse yourself in history, myths and stunning scenery at Tintagel, a place inextricably linked with the legend of King Arthur. For centuries this dramatic castle and coastline has fired the imaginations of writers, artists and even the brother of a king. Now it's your turn to be inspired..

BOSCASTLE

A village and fishing port northeast of Tintagel. The harbour is a natural inlet protected by two stone harbour walls built in 1584, the only significant harbour for 20 miles along the coast.

CRACKINGTON HAVEN

Popular with tourists, walkers and geology students. The surrounding cliffs are well known for their visible folded sedimentary rock formations. The village has a small shop, two tea rooms and a pub called the Coombe Barton Inn in a building which was originally the house of the manager of a local slate quarry.

PADSTOW

A charming working fishing port surrounded by glorious sandy beaches, at the head of the Camel River. Watching the everyday ebb and flow of harbour life is a perfect way to spend a day. This foodie destination with popular eateries such as Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant, is the start and end point for the Camel Cycle Trail and a good base for water sports.

JAMAICA INN

Cornwall's most famous smugglers inn made world-famous by Daphne du Maurier's Jamaica Inn novel.

EDEN PROJECT

Nestled in a huge crater. Here, massive Biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, stunning plants, exhibitions and stories serve as a backdrop to our striking contemporary gardens, summer concerts and exciting year-round family events
PORT ISAAC

A traditional fishing village with a vibrant local community and home to the TV series Doc Martin starring Martin Clunes. It's a truly picturesque village with narrow winding streets lined with whitewashed cottages that head down to the harbour where you can watch local fishermen landing their daily catch of fish, crab and lobsters.

BODMIN MOOR

A granite moorland dates from the Carboniferous period of geological history. It includes Brown Willy, the highest point in Cornwall, and Rough Tor, a slightly lower peak.

CLOVELLY

Set into a steep hillside, is one of the most famous villages in the world.

Clovelly has a single cobbled high street winds its way down the hillside to the ancient Clovelly harbour, through traditional whitewashed cottages festooned with fuchsias and geraniums - the street dropping 400ft in half a mile as it winds its way through Clovelly's 16th century cottages to the harbour.
